Can somebody please do something about Geoff?
That noxious toad is really starting to get under my skin. And how long is Yasmeen going to suffer under this reign of terror? Can't someone intervene? After many mind games, Geoff is not only half owner of Speed Daal, but now is off to Las Vegas with poor, befuddled Yasmeen in tow.
Meanwhile the big news is that Robert had a car accident and was taken to hospital where Michelle finds him and where, as it happens, Vicki also finds him. Robert, of course, has a lie for every occasion and continues to deceive Michelle who may finally be getting just a bit suspicious.
How he will juggle his two visiting fiances though will tax ol' Roberto's powers of deception to the max.
Speaking of deception, Rancid Ray has bought Michelle's silence with a hefty non-disclosure agreement so she won't reveal his Harvey Weinstein-esque habits. Small problem. Michelle warns Alya about the prowling perv and Ray is now suing Michelle for breaking the agreement.
Tiresome Bernie continues to be a supreme liability to Gemma and Chesney, this time by stealing 500 pounds of miniature booze bottles from the fridge of the hotel in Wales where the couple were staying while the quads were in a local hospital waiting for four vacant incubators in Weatherfield.
Fortunately, Ches manages to get a sponsorship deal with Freschos which will bring in 60,000 pounds. I can only hope that Bernie doesn't get her hands on the cash although I'm sure she'll try.
Roy Cropper seems to have a half brother whom he discovers via social media (thanks Mark Zuckerberg). His half bro seems to be quite ill though and is also fiercely guarded by a young, female Goth. Not sure what's going on there.
Gary and Maria are still an item but Gary remains jealous of Ali, even more so when Ali survives his hospital board hearing thanks, in part, to Maria's intervention.
And now for a few lines from the week that was:
Michelle discovers Robert's dog tag from Vicki:
"So exactly whose big daddy are you?"
(I'll make a list)
Carla introduces herself as a pal of Roy's online alias:
"I'm Batman's friend, Carla"
Carla introduces herself as a pal of Roy's online alias:
"I'm Batman's friend, Carla"
(Just call her Catwoman)
Carla reminisces about Roy's mother:
"She was only ever happy when she was miserable"
(may she complain in peace)
Ray to Alya:
"Call me old fashioned"
Ray to Alya:
"Call me old fashioned"
(old fashioned slime ball, that is)
Roy dislikes Geoff's attenpt to promote Speed Daal in the caf:
"Are you trying to be offensive?"
Roy dislikes Geoff's attenpt to promote Speed Daal in the caf:
"Are you trying to be offensive?"
(every chance he gets)

Well, Frescho Fans, so ends another week. I must say, I like the unlikely partnership of Carla and Roy as they track down Roy's half brother. They're like a wacky version of Scott and Bailey - without the booze and cigarettes and legovers. The quads? Not so much. Geoff? Someone do something... please! He's raising my blood pressure. Better do a little yoga to calm down. Om and have a great week.
