Coronation Street Catch-Up: the slapper's boudoir edition

a look back at last week on Canada's Coronation Street.

Sorry about the delay in posting. I was skiving.

So Nick has sold the Bistro to Robert and bought a nice cottage in Devon (hopefully with all the mod cons like hot and cold running chardonnay - ed).

The only snag is, now that Tracy has got all she wants, what's to stop her from telling Nick about Carla's one-night shag-a-thon with Robert? Just common decency, I suppose, plus a slap on the face,

Elsewhere, Michelle is back from Spain and feeling overwhelmed by business while Steve remains away. Michael has gone to Brighton to operate an ice cream van. Gail is sad and moping around like Chewbacca on Zoloft.

Sarah had her baby boy.  I had my fingers crossed that he would be named Macklemore Platt, but alas he will be Harry. Sarah is freaked out by the appearance of Callum's Mom. Ty is trying to earn extra money working for Tim. Bethany is still being bullied.

And now for a few lines from the past week:

Todd witnesses a typical argument among Platts:
"I miss these Platt family get togethers"
(It's like the Krays only less violent).

Sally criticizes Gail's form while jogging:
"I don't like your pelvis"
(It's the only one she's got)

Sally commends Ty's fence painting:
"Not one single drop fell on my bush"
(he left the shrubs in good shape too)

Tracy visits the bedroom in Carla's apartment as a prospective buyer:
"Talk about a slapper's boudoir"
(excuse me, an en suite slapper's boudoir)

Michael's ice cream mentor to Andy:
"Creating a whippy is all in the wrist"
(and it's probably helpful when making an ice cream too)

Michael's ice-cream mentor again:
"Ice cream is the opium of the people"
(in that case, make mine two scoops)

***

Well, Corrie Colleagues, so ends another week. We welcome yet another Platt into the world. Before you know it, Harry will be kicking off and working at Audrey's. Where does the time go? Thanks for stopping by and have a great week.
