Coronation Street Catch Up: the pointy-eared little cow edition

your one stop update on what happened last week on Canada's Coronation Street...

Oh dear!

Seems Gruesome Geoff makes an encore appearance in the form of Yasmeen's vivid nightmare. The bad dream stems from the fact that Yasmeen doesn't know whether she should trust Stu after learning that he was in jail for 37 years for the murder of a young woman.

Stu maintains his innocence and Alya and Zeedan believe him So does Stu's former lawyer who lost the case. As Alya pores over the old case files looking for new evidence she finds inconsistencies - but so far no new evidence.

Meanwhile Stu is welcomed back to Yasmeen's home, much to the displeasure of the Street's impromptu mob (Dev et al.)

Aadi and Kelly agree to a fake engagement in order win a contest for couples. They don't do well on the quiz but are still apparently in the running for the prize. They decide to consummate their fake engagement with a not-so-fake legover. However the faux connubial bliss is shattered when Kelly overhears Aadi talking to Asha and dissing the relationship. So, an angry Kelly takes off in Aadi's new car.

Stephen continues to insinuate himself into Underworld, much to the displeasure of a very skeptical Carla and the delight of a very naïve Sarah.

Bernie (who has taken on a job as Dev's cleaner in order to earn cash to buy her grandson's uniform) comes face-to-face with her doppelganger. Steve continues to flush money away in search of a roof repair. Paul and Gemma celebrate their birthday.

Summer continues to deceive everyone about her diabetes except Aaron who tries to help her. The twosome are planning a night in a luxury hotel.

And now for a few lines from the week that was:

Peter to Carla re: Ken:
"How is it he's 82 and he's still charming the ladies?"
(He's a hi octane octogenarian)

Aadi to Kelly"
"I would be honoured to be your fake fiancé"
(so maybe give her a fake ring instead of the heirloom from Sunita?)

Sarah admires the smarts of Stephen:
"Uncle Stephen, you're an evil genius "
(Well... you're half right)

Bernie to her look-alike:
"Get stuffed you pointy-eared little cow"
(which Bernie are you referring to?)
