It's a travesty, an outrage and an unconscionable miscarriage of justice.
I'm talking, of course, about Gail's birthday soiree. Despite sending invitations to all and sundry, only Audrey is there for Gail's landmark anniversary and so mother and daughter get a skinful while sitting on the couch. Sounds like fun.
But I guess it could be worse. David could be in jail (again), Darling Nicky could be stealing from his Gran (again) and Sarah could be dating a murderer (again).
Speaking of David. The bad-o lad-o seems to be continuing on his path of self destruction by jogging through the mean streets of the council estate. He is spotted by Craig who convinces David to do his jogging in tandem.
Meanwhile, the fate of Yasmeen continues to preoccupy the Street. Despite his best efforts, Yasmeen's lawyer (Imran) fails to get bail for his client and Yasmeen is remanded in custody.
Meanwhile, Geoff uses the opportunity to solidify his case as the innocent party. On the Street some of the denizens have their doubts but Tim wholeheartedly believes his Dad. Alya is convinced of Geoff's guilt and has the locks changed at Yasmeen's house.
Over at the kebab shop, Kathy and Bernie reach an understanding thanks to the lubricative effects of alcohol. Gemma, meanwhile, attends her first support group meeting only to realize that she isn't the only one dealing with postpartum depression.
The Baileys seem to have run into a primo racist over at the Bistro where there has been a change in management. More anguish and worry for Steve and Leanne as Oliver continues to have seizures and must be kept in hospital so more tests can be done to find out exactly what's going on.
And now for some lines from the week that was:
Gail to David and Sarah on the occasion of her birthday:
"Can we at least pretend to be a happy family today?"
(a whole day? You must be kidding)
Bernie describes the mean streets of the council estate:
Bernie describes the mean streets of the council estate:
"West Side Story directed by Quentin Tarantito"
(I love his work especially that film, Pulp Fraction)
Evelyn re: Geoff:
"He is a smarmy beggar"
"He is a smarmy beggar"
(all that and more...)

Well, faithful followers, so ends another week of three episodes. The fate of Yasmeen dominates our thoughts as she remains in jail while Ghastly Geoff is free to broadcast his lies to everyone, especially his son. Come on Tim, wake up! Even your horse (Tiny) would be able to see through Geoff's innocent routine.
Oh well, let's see what next week brings. Thanks so much for stopping by and visiting the Hip. Delighted have have your socially distant company. All the best and have a great week!
