What on earth did Carla get up to during those "lost" weeks in that squalid squat when she was off her head? (don't ask).
Well, whatever happens in the squat (unlike Vegas) apparently doesn't stay in the squat.
We know this because two charming visitors show up in the Rovers in a attempt to extort money from Carla for alleged past indiscretions (i.e. flushing drugs down the toilet). Must have blocked the toilet and required a very expensive plumber because the two misfits want £1,000.
Carla is a little freaked out and Peter wants to know what's going on especially when Jordan and Chelsey (the two misfits) show up.
On top of that, Carla is a little perplexed by Scott, current B and B guest and former friend of Johnny. He seems to have "history" with Johnny but is somewhat vague on the details.
Elsewhere, it looks like the tide is turning against Geoff in the PR battle. Eileen is the latest person to have her doubts about the Detestable DJ and she shares her concerns with Tim. Meanwhile, Geoff manages to nurture his "wounded elk" routine with Faye who chastises Sally for not supporting Geoff and kicking him out of her house.
Adam is using his "old smoothie" routine to charm info out of Laura (Kelly's Mum) to find out more about loan shark Rick and his whereabouts.
David is keen to see Shona return even if she will be staying with Roy. Methinks he is getting his hopes up and perhaps expecting too much. Daniel is at loose ends and a bit lost so Adam takes him to a legal get-together (briefs optional?). By chance, old Danny Boy meets Nicky, a charming lady, at the bar. How nice, right?
And now for some lines from the week that was:
Jordan tries to extort money from Carla:
"It's quid pro quo, sweetheart"

"Did I ever tell you about me and the nun?"

(apparently it's nun of her business)
Scott to Carla about his past with Johnny:

(hmm, doesn't really narrow it down, does it?)

Well, dear Street denizens, so ends another week. Looking forward to seeing how Tim will react to the mounting disdain for Geoff and growing support for Yasmeen. Thanks for stopping by and sharing a virtual cuppa here at the Hip. Have a great week!
