Coronation Street Catch Up: the Colonel Kebab edition

a look back at last week on Canada's Coronation Street.

Forget Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. The real battle is between Prima Donner Kebab and Colonel Kebab.

Dev's Kebab shop uniforms are somewhat similar to the Colonel's uniforms and the Colonel wants to sue Dev. And so zzzzz. Sorry, I dozed off while explaining that story line. Anyway Alya snags the gig to create new uniforms for Dev's commercial empire. Zzzzz.

Switching to something more interesting, it's Halloween on Coronation Street and many are dressed in costumes including Steve and Kirk who come as matching Uncle Festers. Moving on, Zeedan and Dev discover that Sharif 'borrowed' money from the gym to keep Alya quiet about his longtime affair.

Also in Dev's world, he decided to ask Erica to move in. She agrees. The kids are not so pleased. Zeedan has the same idea in mind when she asks Rana to marry him.  Rana is not so pleased.

Peter reconciles with Simon and Tracy agrees to let Peter move back to Chez Barlow thanks to a word from Robert who seems to be becoming quite chummy with Michelle. Hmm.

Over at the hospital, Anna has had her skin grafts and the family waits anxiously by her bedside. Faye's boyfriend seems to be somewhat light fingered. Speaking of felons, Caz has engineered a crime scene at Maria's apartment and the police are convinced that something nefarious has happened and Maria is involved.

And now for a few lines from the week that was:

Dev to Sharif re: Sharif's money borrowing habits:
"It's a gym not a bank"
(Yes, the bank has fewer treadmills and free weights)

Zeedan to Rana:
"Marry me"
(can I get back to you?)

Police to Maria:
"We have to treat your flat as a potential crime scene"
(Why? Has David Platt been hanging around?)

Well, prolific punters, so ends another week. Michelle contemplates an abortion but has a change of heart - but not before upsetting Amy.  And, on a sad note, Robert Vaughn has passed away. Most famous for his role in the Man From U.N.C.L.E., he was perhaps most memorable to us as Sylvia's boyfriend, Milton. He'll be missed. Thanks for stopping by and have a great week.
